GOOD TO KNOW

Frequently asked questions
How much do you charge?
I charge £0,03 per word (50% less than what the average translators usually charge) but in case the terminology was particularly technical, such as a medical report or a finacial article, then I would charge £0,08 per word. I also charge 15% more if, especially for translating a technical document, I have less than 3 days of notice, if I have to work during the weekend and - or outside working hours, as I work from Monday to Friday between 10am and 6pm BST time.
Can I get a membership for your services?
I’m sorry but I don’t offer a membership plan because if I had to work for a long term project I would have to decline many others which potentially could be more lucrative. Although I do offer a discount for loyal customers.
Do you offer live interpreting services?
Yes I do. I can consecutively interprete from English to Italian and vice versa. That could be the case of an online meeting or conference call.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept payment via bank transfer or Paypal
Why do I have to pay 50% deposit upfront?
I ask my customers to pay 50% upfront of what I would charge them as a way to protect myself from potential scams.
How long do I have to wait to receive my translation?
That depends on how many words the document is made of and how technical the terminology is. It usually takes me a day to translate a 3500 / 4000 word document.
What currencies do I accept?
I accept the British pound (GBP), the U.S dollar ($) and the Euro (EUR).
